Chapter 1 : We a man that is a wealthy respected London Lawyer, who also cares more about others then himself. Utterson has a distant relative whome of which enjoys to take weekly walks together. They stroll down a street to find a run down building. This is odd since the street is so nice. Amongst seeing the building Enfield related a story with Utterson about seeing a man trample a young girl in front of the run down house one night. The man was humped over and rigid, he was uglier then words can describe. But before the misshapen man could get away Enfield grabbed him and brought him back to the girl. Now a crowd had gathered and threatened to ruin the mans name if he didn't make peace with the girl. The man then bought off the crowd with 100 pounds. The man then vanished into the ragged building. Later the check was cashed and it turned out real. The identity of the man was later pronounced as Mr. Hyde.
